It feels like an absolute age since I’ve done one of these roundups, but I think I’ve actually only missed one… maybe two? Anyway, I remembered this month, hurrah! Now you can see everything that happened here on the blog in one easy spot.
Recipes from November
I’m largely sticking to my one-post a week rule still, although I have quite a few planned for December so I might throw that rule out the window next month. My favourite this month was probably the pancakes – I make them all the time!
This month’s most popular posts
The Power, by Naomi Alderman. Love, love loved this book right from the start. It’s a dystopian-future story with an intriguing plot and good characters.
Smoke, by Dan Vyleta. Almost Dickens-esque in its setting, and another dystopian plot but completely different to The Power. I didn’t enjoy this one as much – there was a lot of long expanses of time where nothing really happened, and the characters didn’t really grip me.
What’s on the cards for December?
Well, lots of posts! I’m trying not to obsess over chocolate, but that said there are some vegan Baileys brownies coming, and a mince pie porridge that I perfected last year and am finally going to sit down and share with ya’ll! I’m also gonna be checking out the new Pizza Hut vegan cheese option and I’ve been searching for my favourite vegan gift ideas, so it’s probably going to be a busy month!
