Chocolate Recipes
I will be the first to admit that I have a bit of a sweet tooth.
Alright, alright, a massive sweet tooth but actually I’m not a fan of chocolate on it’s own any more! Weird, huh? But what I do love is chocolate flavoured things. Chocolate muffins, chocolate brownies, chocolate oatmeal, chocolate cookies… I love these things. And so, I like to bake them into vegan chocolate recipes that anyone can enjoy! Don’t eat eggs? Everything is egg-free. Can’t tolerate dairy? Well there’s nothing milk-related in sight! Seriously, we have a little haven here, in this corner of the world web, where just about can indulge their chocolate loving nature to their hearts content.

Vegan Mocha Chocolate Flapjacks
Flapjacks – so easy to make, but so rare to find in my house. Generally speaking, when I want something baked and chocolatey, I’ll make some kind of chocolate muffin or cupcake. Vegan Oreo Brownies
Nothing seems to prompt cries of “Oh, I really shouldn’t…” like the offer of a brownie. Chocolate Lava Cakes
Hands up who likes chocolate? Come on, just a little bit! I’m always a bit of a flip-flopper on whether I love chocolate or I just like it. I sort of trained myself out of being unable to resist it a few years ago but I’m pretty glad about that. Nobody should be able to eat an entire Terry’s Chocolate Orange in one go and still be up for more. That said… I do love these chocolate lava cakes – I’ve made them a few times and they’re my ultimate quick, indulgent dessert – especially when drizzled with vegan cream!

Do you get asked about vegan chocolate quite a lot? I sure do! “Does it exist?” Is the main one. But also “can vegans eat chocolate?” comes up quite a lot. My answer is usually just a confused “…yes?”. So, for those who are also faced by confused friends, family and general acquaintances, I rounded up a collection of dairy free, vegan Easter eggs that we can all point to and say: “look!”! And also “that one please!”

Chocolate mousse – the ultimate “lighter” option for dessert, when you’re feeling pretty full but still need something sweet and chocolaty to finish up. I used to think “no eggs” meant “goodbye chocolate mousse” but then aquafaba started taking over the world.
